Bitcoin Talk 005: SHIB Pushes Crypto Toward the Postmodern, Toward Nihilism
-
Many people look at this gaudy pile of coins and assume that Bitcoin and this heap of “Special Coins, Water Coins, At Coins” differ only in name — they all have the word “coin” in them, after all. In fact, their difference from Bitcoin may be greater than the difference between an iPhone and a paramecium.

The SHIB crowd is filled with carnival and ecstasy; SHIB pushes crypto toward the postmodern, toward nihilism. Before cryptocurrency, there simply was no game that people all over the world could join together, interact in around the clock, and enter at a vanishingly low threshold. Cryptocurrency changed that — especially shitcoins like SHIB, issued in enormous quantities at dirt-cheap prices.

Getting rich quick is a basic need. Everyone needs it.
“Eventually at most only 21 million coins for 6.8 billion people in the world if it really gets huge. But don’t worry, there are another 6 decimal places that aren’t shown, for a total of 8 decimal places internally. It shows 1.00 but internally it’s 1.00000000."————Satoshi Nakamoto

Based on the total of 21 million bitcoins in Satoshi’s design, with 7.8 billion people in the world (see Wikipedia, as of 27 October 2021), each person could get only 0.00269 bitcoin (in reality, excluding the large amounts lost early on and the coins Satoshi has locked away forever, this per-capita share can only be smaller, never larger) — that is, 269,000 satoshis per person. If Bitcoin’s price rises to 1 satoshi = 1 yuan, then 269,000 satoshis per person = 269,000 yuan per person — a number that looks exceptionally reasonable.

Buying the big pie is like wearing brocade at night; buying SHIB is like pissing three yards into the wind!

Fortresses on sheer cliffs, high platforms built on drifting sand. If one day SHIB’s market cap surpasses the big pie’s, please salute us early members of the shit-eating squad!

Two days ago (25 October 2021), someone asked Musk how much SHIB he held. When Musk typed that “None” on Twitter, his heart must have been full of fastidiousness, arrogance and contempt. Want to slap the face of the world’s richest man? Then buy SHIB — slap, slap, slap!

Don’t buy coins that are too complicated to explain. Complicated means a high threshold. Ordinary people can’t understand them.

If a coin has risen 300%, its most likely next move is not to fall 30%, but to rise another 3,000%.

Bitcoin has been hammered into an indestructible diamond body; its moat could withstand three hundred thousand Walls of the North.

In crypto, whatever coin you buy, however many kinds you buy, the ultimate goal is to exchange them for the big pie. Whatever demon-or-ghost coin you bought, if your holdings measured in the big pie have grown, that’s your skill. If you can’t see this clearly, you’re still wandering outside the door. Over the past year, if your assets rose in fiat terms but fell in big-pie terms, you were busy for nothing.
