Bitcoin Talk 006: In Crypto, Be a Good Person, Hold Good Coins, and Good Will Come
-
In crypto, be a good person, hold good coins, and good will come to you.
-
The big pie is hard currency; all other coins are stand-ins conjured out of it, here to ferry all beings to salvation. Dig as many cesspits as you like to stockpile shit — in the end it’s still for fertilising the crops. Hunt as many pig, dog and cat coins as you like — in the end it’s only to exchange them for a bit of the big pie.

The Chinese government’s mining ban was partly about reducing thermal-power consumption, but a blanket ban is overcorrection. Virtual-currency mining could have put large amounts of otherwise wasted electricity to use. A blanket ban is lazy governance: no thinking required, and supervision follows a clear, simple line.

We mustn’t underestimate the regulators too much, but we mustn’t overestimate them either. Stay in a crotch long enough and the fumes alone will make you sick. These past few years — shouting about the rise of a great power, then the pandemic made them famous in one stroke — they’ve gotten a bit carried away and lost their grip. But reality is cruel: you may be arrogant, but miss the boat and you’ve missed it. Centralisation and decentralisation cannot be reconciled. You can only castrate; and once castrated, it can no longer breed.
-
We needn’t speculate about how noble anyone’s motives are — that’s pasting shit on other people’s faces, fantasising day after day about the regulators’ greatness, correctness and glory. Pointless. Look only at the actual effects: China’s series of regulatory policies on Bitcoin, on virtual currencies, on mining, has accelerated China’s de-blockchainisation.
-
When the big pie reaches 100,000, cryptocurrency traders emit wave after wave of gasps and moans.
-
Why is it said that Dogecoin will always be the big dog and SHIB always beneath it? Because Doge issues new coins; if it can’t win on price, it wins on quantity.
-
Why, among so many shitcoins, do only the dog-based ones endure, growing braver with every setback? Take a walk around your neighbourhood or along the street: everywhere, people are walking dogs of every colour on leashes. Dogs come with built-in consensus.
-
Eating up every zero — that will become SHIB’s most powerful self-fulfilling prophecy! Just like the self-fulfilling prophecy Bitcoin is to complete: digital gold. A self-fulfilling prophecy erodes people’s souls and seizes the commanding heights of their minds. In this battle of consensus versus chaos, the self-fulfilling prophecy will supply an endless stream of power for the formation of consensus.
