Year-End

route

2018 has passed. A year ago today I was in Bangkok, on Sukhumvit, on the street, wandering, with nothing to do; today I am at a train station, in Zhangjiafan, pacing, cold, weary in body and mind.

This year I went to so many places. Flipping through my photo album: Changsha, Shenzhen, Shunde, Urumqi, Turpan, the Kumtag Desert, Zhengzhou, Taiyuan, Qingyuan, Yunfu, Zhuhai, Hong Kong, Beijing, Jinan, Heyuan, Chaozhou, Nanjing, Suzhou, Kunshan, Yancheng.

This year I met many people and said many things. What could be kept was not much; most of it lives on in my Moments feed, without even the courage to give it a like.

Old acquaintances, too, are draining away, unseen.

Many changes happened this year: transferred to a sales post, moved away from the university town, moved to Dashi, left my former employer, sold the car, devoted myself to Bitcoin. There is not one thing I regret.

In 2019 I do not long for great success. I only hope to understand the Bitcoin system more deeply, to read a few more books, to study together with Qiaoqiao, to begin spontaneously building something of my own — best of all, to find a thread to start a business.

I hope I can grow together with Bitcoin, and become better.
